It's her first televised interview since she got engaged...

During the royal tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge gave a televised interview about their experience visiting the country.
- Their royal visit also marks the first time the Duke and Duchess gave a televised interview since their engagement in 2010.
- A clip showing the Duchess of Cambridge speaking about her time at an orphanage was shared to CNN’s social media pages.
- This follows royal news that Prince Harry set the record straight on the rumours about rift with brother Prince William.
During their five-day visit of the county, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge packed a lot in. We especially loved the way they followed in Diana’s footsteps during an emotional visit to a hospital.
But it also marked the first television interview for them since they announced their engagement nine years ago, with Duchess Catherine leading the conversation about their visit to SOS Children’s Village Pakistan.
Agreeing that the cause was close to her heart, she said, “William and I really wanted to come and see an SOS Children’s Village like this.
“There’s so many vulnerable women here but they really sort of use their positivity, and the support that the village here provides them, really to support and protect the next generation, the children in their care, and give them the best possible start to their future lives.”

When asked about the rest of the visit, the Duchess, added, “It’s been fantastic, we’ve seen a lot of Pakistan, a huge variety, it’s amazing to see some of the geography but then to see some of the community activities like this has been really special.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's tour of Pakistan was well documented across social media, with many clips and images being shared by the Kensington Royal Instagram and Twitter accounts.
An official tweet revealed that the SOS Village in Pakistan gave home and structure to 150 orphaned children, alongside photographs of the royal couple meeting with members of that community.
The royal tour of Pakistan concluded on Friday, and we’re looking forward to seeing what’s next on the agenda for the Cambridges!
