Waffle is the latest Wordle alternative that word game players are loving as they try out this spin-off that is a lot trickier than your average Wordle game.

For fans of Wordle, sometimes just one game a day is not enough! Fortunately, there are a number of spin-off games that have become popular and are like wordle, but with slightly different rules.

Waffle is the newest Wordle alternative you need to try out if you already love wordle but you are ready for a more difficult challenge, and it already has fans across the globe who love this tricky challenge. So if you want to get involved, here is everything you need to know about how to play.

How to play Waffle

The waffle game features a number of word puzzles that must be solved within a certain number of moves. The words are scrambled anagrams and players must work out how they can find the correct spot for all of the letters in as few moves as possible.

Players have 15 attempts to solve the puzzle, but the puzzle will always be solvable in just 10 moves. Like Wordle, when the letters are in the correct position they will turn green. They will also turn yellow if they are in the word, but in a different position.

On Wednesday, July 27, the solution to the puzzle were the words; usual, tamer, until, lathe, unmet, and large.

if this game seems a little bit complicated, don't fret! It's a much easier game to learn by trial and error and if you are looking for a new challenge after wordle, this is definitely a fun step up.

If you are looking for something slightly different, there are also a number of games that are a slightly different challenge. Heardle is a music-based Wordle spin-off and is perfect for people who consider themselves musical geniuses or are just looking to improve their music knowledge. Moviedle is another similar spin-off that is perfect for film buffs. The game challenges players to guess a movie title based on a few clips from a random film.
