Sarah Jessica Parker's pink blazer paired with a daring metallic dress is the kind of daring look that fashion fans expect from the actor's beloved character Carrie Bradshaw.
As production of And Just Like That season 2 is well underway, fans of the show and lovers of all things fashion have been drooling over shots of the cast in their finery. Whether it's in the hope of learning how to dress like Carrie Bradshaw or trying to figure out if the rumors of Aidan coming back for And Just Like That season 2 are actually true - excitement is certainly building.
It's no surprise that a first look at And Just Like That season 2 has fans divided, because spin-offs often prove controversial to fans of the original show and many Sex And The City buffs remain to be satisfied with the newest chapter of Carrie's life.
In the latest shots from behind the scenes, Carrie and Miranda Hobbes, played by Cynthia Nixon, are seen strolling through Brooklyn's Prospect Park, surrounded by members of the public dressed up in costumes. With extras dressed as everything from Elvis, to Barbie, and even a hot dog - one may assume that they're filming a Halloween episode. With this show, however, you never know what's happening.
A prime example of this is recent images showing Sarah Jessica stepping out of her old apartment in Carrie's wedding dress - which is probably more shocking than if she'd dressed as Elvis, Barbie, or a hot dog.
RRP: $149 / £99.99 | This fitted blazer, made of a viscose blend fabric, screams Carrie chic on a high street budget. Add it to a casual look to make for an instantly smart outfit or wear it over a full-length dress for a tomboyish edge.
RRP: $225 / £135 | Calling all suit lovers - this comes with matching trousers. Easy to wear and suited to most body shapes, this versatile blazer is likely to be an investment piece.
RRP: $130 / £70 | Pointy shoulders, collar, AND lapels? We'll take five. This piece is a must-have for anybody with an hour glass or pear shape figure looking to show off their waist. Another offering, which comes with matching trousers but looks just as chic over your favorite jeans too.
The devil's in the detail in this show's wardrobe department and for style queen Sarah Jessica - it's all about the accessories. The actor regularly posts shots from the set of the new series, focusing on a particular element of Carrie's carefully curated outfits. This time around it was her earrings that had their moment in the sun. Try as she may but we can't get over that bombastic jacket and dare we mention it - but Sarah Jessica Parker's pink blazer is very Samantha Jones.

HBO insiders have revealed that And Just Like That season 2 will remind of 'iconic' Sex and the City episodes
Little is known about the upcoming season of the hit show, but it's been confirmed that the original quartet won't reunite - despite desperate pleas from fans. Yes, the fabulous elephant in the room - Samantha Jones. Actor Kim Cattrall threw shade at the ‘trashy’ reboot, making it crystal clear that she had no intention of starring alongside her former costars ever again. The show's producers have cleverly managed to keep her iconic character alive by featuring text messages from the absent sexed-up PR maven.
