When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
In 2025, Amazon Prime Day started on Tuesday, 8th July and ended at midnight on Friday, 11th July. This year Amazon Prime Day ran four days - the first time in its ten-year history - giving shoppers twice as long to shop the sale.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is a major global shopping event offering exclusive deals across every category – from fashion and beauty to home and health – but it's only available to Amazon Prime members.
If you're not yet a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial without committing to a long-term membership.
Prime membership offers a range of cost-saving perks, including free One-Day and Same-Day Delivery on eligible UK orders over £20. Plus, if you're aged 18 to 22, you can get Prime for half the usual price – just £4.49 per month or £47.49 per year. It’s the perfect option for students starting university this September, with added discounts on textbooks, fashion, travel, accessories, and more.
Amazon Prime Day 2025: what's new?
This year, Amazon introduced a new twist to Prime Day. Each night at midnight, ‘New Deal Drops’ launched - these were a curated selection of limited-time offers based on a different daily theme. This meant some of the biggest discounts didn't stick around for long, so shoppers had to act fast to grab the best bargains before they were gone.

Is Prime Day worth it?
In short, yes! Whether you’re getting a head start on Christmas shopping or just browsing for unbeatable bargains, Amazon Prime Day is worth your time when it comes around again.
As a consumer editor and lifestyle journalist with nearly 20 years of writing for the national press, I know sales events often come with a lot of hype. It can be tricky to cut through the noise and figure out what’s truly worth your time and money. But over the years, I’ve genuinely snapped up some of the best bargains during Prime Day.
From a discounted games console that made Christmas unforgettable for my kids, to huge savings on everyday essentials like pet food, dishwasher tablets, and yes - even toilet roll - Prime Day has consistently delivered. I’ve also scored big on Amazon devices like Kindles over the years, and on some of my favourite beauty brands (Elemis and Espa, I'm looking at you.) Prime Day is an event I never miss - who wouldn’t want to save on gifts, household essentials, big-ticket items, or a little treat?
If you’ve been thinking about a new Kindle or an Echo, Prime Day always has some cracking deals - and the Kindle offers are some of the best we've ever seen this year. (I'm due an upgrade and the Kindle Colorsoft has my attention.)
This year, the woman&home editorial team of expert shopping writers have been curating the very best Prime Day deals live throughout the four-day event. And here’s the difference: we only share genuine deals on products we truly know and love. If we recommend a deal, you can trust it’s because we’ve used the product ourselves and are confident the price is right.
Are the deals any good on Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon’s prices fluctuate throughout the year, which can sometimes make it tricky to spot a genuinely great deal on Prime Day. So, are the deals any good? Absolutely - but only if you know where to look.
This year, the entire woman&home editorial team have been working around the clock across all four days of Prime Day, hunting down the best prices on our favourite tried-and-tested products. We focused on bringing you the biggest, most authentic discounts across all categories, but especially home, health, fashion, and beauty.
With our expert team doing the hard work of research and price-checking, readers could shop the Prime Day deals with confidence, knowing these offers are truly worth their time and money.
What dates are Amazon Prime in October?
Amazon hasn’t yet announced an October Prime sale for 2025 but the retailer often holds a Big Deal Days event sometime during the month. However, this year's four-day Prime Day deals event which took place in July, is likely to be Amazon's biggest sale of the year.
