Richard Madeley and wife Judy 'very proud' of Chloe's big wedding moment
Richard Madeley and wife Judy Finnegan may not have won themselves an invitation to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding day, but daughter Chloe Madeley was lucky enough to be a guest on the big occasion.
The personal trainer, and the couple's daughter, attended Harry and Meghan's celebrations as her rugby player fiancé James Haskell's 'plus one'.
And recently, Richard Madeley discussed his daughter's attendance at the wedding, explaining to Good Morning Britain fans how she knew the royal couple.
He joked, “My smelly little girl Chloe was there with her fiancé James.
"Basically the reason Chloe went along is because she’s engaged to James and James is good friends with Harry because of the rugby thing. Harry is a huge rugby fan! They’ve known each other for about 10 years.”
Richard Madeley also went on to reveal that Chloe's appearance at the wedding proved to be a huge source of pride for him and wife Judy, who tuned in at 3am in Los Angeles to see their daughter.
Revealing that the couple were only expecting to see a snippet of Chloe there, he said that it was a pleasant surprise to see her attendance at the ceremony covered so widely by the media.

He explained, "Judy was hoping to catch a glimpse! She got more than a glimpse! She was all over it Chloe!
"Every time it cut away from the ceremony, there was Chloe. We are very proud!”
62-year-old Richard also revealed that 30-year-old Chloe gave her parents an intriguing insight into the wedding - but that he sadly wouldn't be divulging all of the details.
The popular presenter did however share that the big day was as joyous as it looked on our screens. Richard said, “She [Chloe] said the atmosphere was like any other wedding, a happy wedding.”
And it seems the Duke and Duchess' happy day has given newly-engaged Chloe some impressive aspirations for her own upcoming nupitals too.
Richard confessed, “She actually said, do you think it would be possible to get married in St Paul’s cathedral!
“I said no! That’s not going to happen! You are winding me up!”
Chloe and James recently revealed they were engaged, back in March. The couple, who have been together for 3 years, have not yet revealed when they plan to tie the knot, although it's thought to be sometime soon.
