Prince Harry and Meghan recently surprised a group of mothers with a virtual call. The couple shared some advice with the women’s advocacy group that aims to improve the lives of mothers and their families.
Meghan Markle told the mothers in the group that they should all take a moment to see themselves from their children's perspective, "because to our children, we're superheroes.”
Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, Executive Director and CEO, MomsRising told Hello, "The meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan was a huge boost for MomsRising members, some of whom are struggling without jobs, child care, paid leave, health care, and other essentials during the pandemic.”
She continued to say that Prince Harry and Meghan both gave great advice to the group. “The Duke and Duchess were kind, compassionate, and incredibly supportive, both on a personal level and of the policies that would help get their lives back on track,” said Kristin.
The Executive Director continued to praise Meghan,"The Duchess also reminded us that, especially in times of self-doubt, we should take the opportunity to see ourselves through our children's eyes. Because to our children, we're superheroes. That really resonated with so many of us," she said.
Meghan and Harry currently just have one child, a son named Archie. However the couple are also expecting a second child, a daughter, that is due during the summertime. The couple have also clarified that they plan to just have two children.
Harry said in an interview with Oprah, “To have a boy and then a girl, you know, what more can you ask for," He continued to say, "But now, you know, now we — we've got our family. We've got, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and it's great."
It was also announced that their baby would receive a special title automatically once she is born. Recent reports also claim Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a unique birth plan in place for their daughter.
