Jennifer Aniston has shared a sneak peek of The Morning Show season 2
Jennifer Aniston has shared a sneak peek at The Morning Show season 2 as she took to Instagram to share the new trailer of the Apple TV series.
Jennifer Aniston starred in the critically acclaimed series The Morning Show which was released in 2019. The series was produced by Apple TV which has been behind some major hits such as The Me You Can't See with Prince Harry and Oprah and Ted Lasso.
Unsurprisingly, fans adored the first series that focused on the cutthroat lives of news anchors working in television journalism.
Fans were delighted when it was announced that The Morning Show was coming back and a teaser trailer was released in June 2021. But many viewers have been waiting with bated breath for the second series of this fantastic show and only now has the star of the series Jennifer Aniston, who plays Alex Levy, posted a trailer for the second season.

What we know so far about The Morning Show season 2
In the trailer, it seems that Alex is thrown right back into the action as she returns to work at the UBA after Cory Ellison (played by Billy Cudrup) convinces her to come back to her old haunt.
It's clear that her return causes ripples and Bradley Jackson (played by Reese Witherspoon) makes it clear that she won't be edged out.
The sneak peek also shows that Steve Carrell will return to his role as disgraced co-host Mitch Kessler.
Julianna Margulies also joins the main cast for the second season as Laura Peterson. Julianna is best known for her work on the series The Good Wife where she played the lead character Alicia Florrick.
Interestingly the show also decides to incorporate the Pandemic into the storyline of the show. Many TV shows have chosen to avoid the COVID-19 outbreak but the cast are heard in the snippet discussing 'this coronavirus thing' and attempting to 'get ahead' of the story.
Although it features some lighthearted moments of comedy, serious themes are also broached. Issues of racism, work pressure, and the network's success are portrayed against the backdrop of an upbeat song that encapsulates the show's ability to be humorous but also devastatingly sad.
