James Martin has announced very exciting career news – and fans are loving his new venture!
The TV chef has been keeping very busy this year despite lockdown – from kitchen renovations and trying new hobbies to This Morning appearances and gardening, it’s been go go go for James.
And while he’s also recently reopened his restaurants and confessed to being knackered because of it, he still had time to share some very exciting career news.
The celeb chef has collaborated with a gin brand to produce a delicious spirit. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, ‘Hi all, as you know I’m a gin lover... well, this is what I was up to amongst loads of other stuff for the past year...but this is the first gin I’ve been involved in for some friends of mine, developing the botanicals and taste for them....it’s arrived and on the menu...hope you all like it and its available online too now...enjoy! @otterbeckdistillery’.
Fans rushed to congratulate him, with one saying, ‘Lovely designed bottle. Will have to order one.’
Another gushed, ‘My favourite tipple. Going on site now. Just ❤️you James butter mountain Martin 😘’
A third also wrote, ‘Oh wow! That’s amazing. 💯 Don’t we know your love for gin. This is definitely going into the shopping basket! 😍’
The new gin is described as ‘fragrant and herbaceous’ with a ‘delectable blend of aromatic botanicals including Yorkshire Watercress, English coriander and hand foraged spruce’. Yum!
One bottle costs £37.95 and can be bought from the Otterbeck Distillery's website.
The announcement comes after James confessed he was tired after a busy few days spent working hard at his restaurant - The Kitchen at Chewton Glen in Hampshire.
He wrote on Twitter, ‘About to start another service and another fully booked one, look at that lovely evening...excuse me all if I look a bit knackered on @thismorning tomorrow live but been on every service and the new menu is going down a storm.’
