Ashley Graham is known for her modeling, hilarious quips, and honest take on all things motherhood. Case in point: her latest Instagram posts, where she shows what it's really like to breastfeed her twin boys Malachi and Roman, whom she gave birth to this past January.
This isn’t the first time that Ashley takes to social media to candidly discuss parenthood. A few months ago, she made her feelings about public breastfeeding public ("I'm not going to apologize") and, before that, she joked about her postpartum hair loss. In mid-April, she even showed off her "new tummy" three months after giving birth to the twins!
Last week, the 34-year-old model, who also shares son Isaac with husband Justin Ervin, posted a photo of herself in bed while breastfeeding the twins. She captioned the image, "Double fisting 😂 (peep the whacky tan lines).”

Ashley also posted a different photo of herself sitting upright, in the act of feeding, to her Instagram stories. "My normal position for when I tandem feed the boys," she wrote alongside the latter picture. "This took me a solid few weeks of trial/error and lots of tears to latch consistently. My doula who is also a lactation consultant was so kind and gentle with me in helping all 3 of us figure out how to do this together."
She went on to call out "the Z pillow" as a "must-have" for parents with twins. Made with two children of more or less the same age in mind, the product is basically a Boppy with two separate sections.
After her series of posts, fans took to social media to praise Ashley's usual honesty.
One user commented, "As a new mama of twins I know the struggle of breastfeeding them. I'm so impressed by the tandem feeding and hope we can get there soon. Power to you!"
“Gurrllll I am exhausted with ONE breastfeeding baby! 👏👏❤️,” another one wrote.
"Wow! Any mom who can breastfeed is amazing. Breastfeeding twins? Incredible! It takes so much energy from your body to do so," yet another person commented.
We, of course, join the chorus of praises. Thank you, Ashley, for always being unabashedly straightforward about being a mother.
