Stacey Dooley invites fans inside her home – 3 unexpected touches that instantly caught our eye

It's not the first time we've been absolutely besotted with Stacey Dooley's home, and it certainly won't be the last. However, this time she's shared pictures of nearly her entire house, and there are a couple of things that have immediately caught our attention.

If you're looking for inspiration to add personality to your home, you needn't look further than the documentary maker Stacey Dooley's home. Having slowly transformed each space, Stacey has finally shown us the finished product, and it's pretty much everything we've hoped for.

From chic dopamine decor to timeless 70s-inspired interiors, this really is a space to admire. But there were a few pieces and additions in particular that left us scouring the internet for ways to recreate them.

If you're a fan of Stacey's, whether that's for her bold street style or groundbreaking documentaries, you've probably seen her home before and maybe even her unconventional Christmas trees last year.

Recently, though, the actress has taken to her Instagram (@sjdooley) to share pictures of her home, and we simply can't get enough of it. One of the first things that caught our eye was the decadent chandelier hanging over her marble dining table.

Unlike more traditional designs, this vintage Italian Murano chandelier has a simpler design in that it's just repeated glass flutes hung on a frame, and yet the result is anything but. It's a modern spin on a centuries-old classic and the perfect way to add some maximalism to your home without overwhelming it.

Aside from being way ahead of the lighting trends, Stacey has also incorporated one of our favourite home accessories into her space. Door curtains were huge last winter thanks to their heat-saving properties, but they can be used as a stylish room separator.

Hers is a warm burnt orange that complements the dark wood frames in her home wonderfully, and it's a great way to keep a space open plan whilst still having that option to close it when the occasion calls for it.

The final thing we can't stop admiring is the numerous interior stained glass windows in Stacey's home. Whilst it is difficult to find homes with original stained glass these days, the use of the windows on interior walls is a fantastic way of adding character and brightening up even the darkest room.

Understandably, this isn't so easy to install into a house, but the use of these charming, unusual statement additions in her home is what makes the space so special. It's not overwhelming or overdecorated, but it's dotted with thoughtful, curated design choices.
