Actress Gwyneth Paltrow launched her lifestyle brand Goop in 2008, and she has announced her first wellness cruise which will take place in the summer.
Taking to her personal Instagram account, Gwyneth Paltrow shared the exciting Goop news to her 6.7 million followers.
In her caption she wrote, ‘We’ve gone fishing! @goop is now on the high seas. Join me in Spain, France, and the Italian Riviera. @celebritycruises #goopatsea’
The star shared a teaser video alongside the update, promising activities for the mind, body, and soul on board this cruise. Goop’s wellness cruise is in partnership with Celebrity Cruises, a luxury line that has been active since 1988.
It will depart from Barcelona on 26th August from Barcelona, and will travel through France, the Mediterranean and the Italian Riviera, before returning on 6th September.
The experience called ‘Goop At Sea’ focuses on overall wellness, and will feature sessions with experts who will speak about new ideas in the emotional and physical health fields.
Travellers should also expect healthy meals curated by Goop’s food editor, meditation, and even facials if the teaser trailer is anything to go by. Sounds like a dreamy experience for anyone interested in health and wellness.
In a press release, Gwyneth said, “I'm very excited for the idea of doing it in Europe and reaching people who have that kind of adventurous spirit.
“It was funny because we had talked about as we were thinking about different formats for 'In Goop Health,' we thought "wouldn't it be fun to do it on a boat one day?" and this randomly came up the following week so I took it as a good sign.
“With Goop at Sea, we'll be invoking that adventurous spirit with a series of transformative experiences led by a few of our most-trusted wellness practitioners and healers.”
Whilst the star will be on board the ship, she’s unsure how much time she’ll be able to spend there due to scheduling and other work commitments.
Tickets for the wellness day on board the cruise are available for £574, and are open to those who book Suite Class accommodations on the boat. These luxury suites start at £4,149.
Gwyneth has recently worked with Netflix to create mini-series The Goop Lab, for anyone interested in learning more about her company as well as trending topics in the wellness industries.
