Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte return date confirmed and what new drinks are coming to Starbucks for Fall 2022?
In addition to the return of the PSL, Starbucks revealed which other new drinks will be available in store this season
Fall is officially here: as of today, Starbucks is serving the customer-favorite pumpkin spice latte (PSL) across its stores in the United States of America. The drink will be available in the United Kingdom starting September 1.
Starbucks, who recently announced its plans to phase out single-use paper cups, will be serving the beloved drink for the 19th year in a row.
The recipe stays the same: the company's signature espresso is prepared with steamed milk and added cinnamon, nutmeg and clove flavors to, according to an official press release, "complement the real pumpkin in the sauce." The concoction is then topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices. As usual, you can order the PSL hot, iced or blended while supplies last all throughout the season.
But that's not all, just as was the case when Starbucks launched its pumpkin spice fall menu 2021, the company this year has announced the arrival of a number of other delicious drinks to accompany the PSL on the menu.
First up is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which returns to the list of offerings for the fourth year but will only be available for a limited time. The drink is made with the company's cold brew, sweetened with vanilla syrup, and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice.
There is also the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, which customers fell in love with for the first time last fall. This year, though, it will be made using oat milk instead of regular milk, plus Starbucks blonde espresso, apple, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a spiced apple drizzle. You can order it hot, iced, or blended.
According to Harvey Rojas Mora, a Starbucks beverage developer, "the oat milk adds a creaminess and brings forward the oat flavors of a traditional apple crisp topping."

We're all in.
But imbibing options aren’t the only exciting additions to the world-renowned company's season menu. In fact, Starbucks also revealed changes to its bakery offerings and it’s all about pumpkins in that category as well. For a limited time, customers will get to indulge in their favorite drinks alongside a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin or a Pumpkin Scone, for example.
If you're looking for a slightly different flavor profile, though, opt for the Owl Cake Pop, which, according to the press release "combines vanilla cake and buttercream, dipped in purple chocolaty icing and finished with an owl design." Fair warning, though: the pop will only be available for a limited time while supplies last.
We'd be remiss not to point out yet another update, this one perhaps even more striking than the menu additions. For the first time in a decade, Starbucks has announced that it will launch new designs on its whole bean coffee packages, each one inspired by the history of the java blend it represents.
It’s a whole new Starbucks come fall, and we’re all for it.
