The recent Pride of Britain awards saw of host of famous faces take to the red carpet to debut their stunning sartorial creations for awaiting crowds.
Presenters including Holly Willoughby, Christine Lampard, Amanda Holden and Susanna Reid all gathered at the heart-warming annual event to honour the brave people who have been awarded Pride of Britain accolades.
But before heading inside to the ceremony, the celebrities put their best fashion-foot forward to show off their flowing gowns for the evenings festivities.
And it seems as though the majority of them all relied upon one lady to help them create their red-carpet look – stylist to the stars, Angie Smith.
Angie is a renowned celebrity stylist, and often works with Holly Willoughby on a daily basis to dress her for This Morning. She’s also a regular feature on Lorraine, helping part-time host Christine Bleakley to pick out a flattering outfit, and even dresses Zoe Ball for Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two from time to time.
Last night, Angie and Holly picked out a gorgeous lilac floor-length gown, by Georges Hobeika. The This Morning presenter pair her bejewelled dress with a simple up-do and swathes of gleaming jewellery.
Amanda Holden also sported an eye-catching billowing dress from Basil Soda, decked out with an impressive floral print. Christine Lampard opted for a decidedly simpler number, in a fitted black halter neck.
Susanna Reid however was styled by her long-term Good Morning Britain stylist Debbie Harper. She also pulled out all the stops for the event, donning a gorgeous sparkling mermaid-fit gown in a sea-green. Co-host and former Strictly star Charlotte Hawkins wore a fitted red Suzanne Neville dress.
However, while the stars undoubtedly looked stunning, their dresses are undeniably all pretty far out of a regular price-range.
But fear not, as we’ve got the solution. We’ve had a look around for the best high-street copies (at far more affordable prices) for the star’s designer dresses – which will likely be ideal for that upcoming Christmas party…
Although this House of Fraser pick is shorter than Carol’s red carpet option, it’ll mark for the perfect sophisticated yet stylish gown for your festive season. Plus, it’s a steal at £36!
This House of Fraser halter-neck is a great copy if you’re looking to mimic Christine’s understated style.
An off-the-shoulder Karen Millen dress is a subtle nod to Charlotte’s red-carpet look at the inspiring awards evening.
Although this ASOS dress is a slightly more lilac shade than Holly’s dress, the bejewelled top and long flowing skirt are a dead ringer for her presenter’s outfit.
This lace Marks & Spencer number is pretty accurate copy for Theresa’s ensemble at the awards last night…
