Rhiannon Derbyshire is the Senior Beauty Editor for Woman & Home.

She started her career interning at Essenitals magazine in 2011 while working alongside her Fashion Journalism degree. There, she was lured to the beauty desk, seduced by bright lipsticks, posh shampoos, and every skincare product imaginable. From there she worked for other magazines including Bella, Closer, heat, Woman, Womans Own and Womans Weekly as well as Superdrug's DARE magazine. She's written about fashion, beauty interiors, and health, but beauty remains her favourite topic.

14 years into her career, she now writes about all things skincare, haircare and makeup for six national titles and often interviews celebrities, experts and brand founders. Highlights include conversations with Helen Mirren, Sam McKnight, Bobbi Brown and Dr Dennis Gross. She also oversees and judges products for the Woman & Home skin, hair and beauty awards, rigorously testing hundreds of products yearly.

After decades of painstakingly straightening her 3A curls, Rhiannon now embraces her natural texture and specialises in writing about curly hair routines. The key, she finally realized, was letting go of any control - physical and metaphorical - and finding the holy grail curl cream. She also has a penchant for matte red lipsticks and is an advocate of minimalist skincare routines - with a bit of LED therapy thrown in.
