Pil Pil Prawns
A great dish to include on a Spanish-style tapas board, or fab as a starter too
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 1tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 red chilli, seeds removed and finely chopped
- 350g (12oz) raw king prawns
- ½tsp paprika
If you want to make up a tapas board, you could add these extra dishes: jarred, roasted red peppers; and triangular slices of Manchego cheese – so easy!
Heat the oil and butter in a small frying pan on a medium heat, then add the garlic and chilli and heat for 1 minute – it should be gently sizzling. Add the prawns and fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove from the heat, stir through the paprika and season. Serve immediately.
