The Queen has arrived at Prince Philip's memorial ceremony in London this morning to pay respects to her late husband, nearly one year on from his death.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who died aged 99 in Windsor Castle last April, is to be honored with a special Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. The invite-only event is being attended by up to 1800 guests and is expected to last just 45 minutes.
Dressed in a forest green dress and a matching brimmed hat, the Queen was accompanied by her son, Prince Andrew, as she entered the historic church from a side passage.
The nature-themed color, which was also worn by Duchess Camilla and Princess Anne, was likely a subtle nod to Prince Philip's military service in the Royal Navy.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also arrived with their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in tow. Kate paired a polka dot black dress with a wide-brimmed black hat for the occasion, while Prince William wore a simple morning suit.
The Duke is also joined by his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, along with their respective husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank. Prince Charles, the Queen's eldest son, is also present.

Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex have also come to the service with their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. Prince Harry and Meghan, who stepped back as senior royals in January 2020 and moved to the US, Markle will not be present.
The Queen's attendance at the event was confirmed by Buckingham Palace this morning, after weeks of speculation over her ability to go. Her Majesty has suffered a bout of physical issues in recent months, with leg stiffness reportedly the latest ailment to strike the 95-year-old. She also caught COVID-19 in February, just a few months after she was hospitalized overnight for 'preliminary investigations'.
It's understood that the Queen has had a wheelchair-friendly lift fitted at Balmoral Castle and is now using a golf buggy to help her move around the grounds at Windsor Castle.
