‘United in grief’ Prince Harry and Prince William to walk shoulder to shoulder at Prince Philip’s funeral
The brothers have been caught in a war of words in recent weeks
Prince Harry and Prince William will put their differences aside and walk shoulder to shoulder at Prince Philip's funeral, royal insiders have claimed.
- All eyes will be on Prince Harry and Prince William as they are set to see each other for the first time at Prince Philip's funeral
- Royal insiders say the family are 'united in grief' despite the accusations levelled at the royal family during Meghan and Harry's Oprah Winfrey interview
- It follows royal news that the royal family have asked mourners not to publicly mourn due to covid-19
Prince Harry and Prince William will put their differences aside as they "unite in grief" for their grandfather, Prince Philip's funeral next Saturday.
Prince Philip passed away peacefully aged 99 on Friday morning. And Prince Harry is expected to travel back from America to mourn alongside his family.
It is thought his wife, Meghan Markle - who is pregnant with their second child - will remain at home.
With the brothers expected to stand shoulder to shoulder at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, it will be the first time they've seen each other since Meghan accused Kate Middleton of making her cry in the run-up to the royal wedding in 2018 during the couple's tell-all interview with Oprah.
That was just one of several shocking claims made against the royal family, while another suggested someone had questioned how dark Archie's skin would be.
Prince William publicly denied these racist claims just weeks ago.

The brothers know "all eyes will be on" them at the funeral, and royal insiders say they hope it could be the start of a reconciliation.
The source told the Mail on Sunday, "All eyes will be on William and Harry at the funeral. This is the first time we're going to see them together since Harry and Meghan left for their new life in America.
"There has been so much bad blood but everyone is hoping that, perhaps, this will mark the beginning of a reconciliation."
The source added that the royal family are "united in grief".
The head of the Catholic Church, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, said she hopes the funeral will offer the family time time of privacy together.
He told Times Radio, "I think there might be a bit of consolation in it for the royal family actually because it just gives them a chance to be close and to have a comparative bit of privacy.
"Obviously, the whole ceremony will be watched by everybody but you think of the complexities of the dynamics in that family and we have to think of Harry, so far away.
"I'm sure he'll come but not being, the whole time, in the public eye might just help. Many a family gather and get over tension and broken relationships at the time of a funeral. Something very profound unites them all again. And that would be true for this family, I'm sure."
