The subtle but sad detail you missed from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s anniversary video
Prince William and Kate Middleton's anniversary video shows the realness of family life - but did you spot this?
There’s a subtle yet very sad detail in Prince William and Kate Middleton’s anniversary video that you probably missed.
- Prince William and Kate Middleton gave fans a rare insight into the realness of their family life yesterday, to mark their 10 year wedding anniversary.
- The gorgeous clip shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge having lots of outdoor fun with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, nearby their Norfolk home, Amner Hall.
- This royal news comes after Prince Harry’s cheeky back up plan for if Kate rejected Prince William’s proposal was revealed.
In the video, that appears to have been shot at the same time as the portrait that the Cambridge family released for Christmas last year, the five of them are enjoying a day at the beach and in the luscious green grounds of their country home.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who were heard speaking publicly for the first time in a sweet video with David Attenborough last year, can be seen roaming free in the great outdoors, wrapped up in their coats.
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge look as loved up as ever while laughing, playing and toasting marshmallows on a bonfire with the children.
The Cambridges' dog, Lupo, also appears in the footage—but he sadly passed away in November last year, so the family is no longer as it was at the time the video was filmed.

At the time of the loss of the pooch, Kate and William shared a sweet tribute in honor of the English Cocker Spaniel.
"Very sadly last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away. He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years and we will miss him so much - W & C," a message on the Kensington Palace Instagram account read, beside a gorgeous photo of Lupo.

Lupo was a gift to Catherine and William when they were newlyweds, given to them by Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
The royal pup was reportedly brought into the couple’s life in order to support Kate while Prince William was away in the Falkland Islands in the early days of their marriage.
Shortly after Lupo left the Cambridges, the family adopted a black Cocker Spaniel puppy from Kate’s brother, James Middleton, who has credited his bond with his own dogs for getting him through his battle with depression.

There’s no doubt that canines mean a great deal to the Royal Family, especially during hard times.
It’s believed that the Queen has been seeking solace with her two new puppies, named Muick and Fergus, to help her through the loss of her husband, Prince Philip.
