Princess Diana would be “totally heartbroken” if she was alive to see her sons’ falling out, following Prince Harry’s exit from the royal family.

A royal expert has claimed that the late Princess of Wales would be devastated to see her two boys with the current strain on their brotherly relationship.

Royal pro Angela Levin explains that one of the things most important to Princess Diana was that her sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, had a good relationship as they grew together under the tough spotlight of royal life. .

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Angela said, "Diana would be totally heartbroken. It was so important to her that her boys had a good relationship.

"They had such a unique life and so she wanted to ensure they’d at least have each other."

She also predicts that Princess Diana would be giving her youngest son a slap across the wrist for allowing his exit from the monarchy to drive him and William apart.

"If Diana were here now, she’d give Harry a telling off for breaking away, and she’d tell him to be there for William as he gears up to be King."

It comes after Prince Harry admitted he sees his brother as "trapped" within the system of the royal family, having admitted he and William are on "different paths".

The Duke of Sussex also got incredibly honest recently, speaking about the trauma he faced as a young boy following the death of his mother and the heartbreaking memories that come to his mind when he remembers his years with Diana.

Opening up on his and Oprah Winfrey’s mental health docuseries, The Me You Can’t See, Harry gave an insight into the sad reality of his life growing up as the son of the heir to the throne.

"When I think about my mum the first thing that comes to mind is always the same one over and over again.

"Strapped in the car, seatbelt across with my brother in the car as well and my mother driving being chased by three, four, five mopeds with paparazzi on and then she was always unable to drive because of tears. There was no protection,” he confessed.
