Our thoughts are with the Duchess of Cornwall and her son, Tom Parker Bowles, after the news that his girlfriend of two years, Alice Procope, has passed away, aged 42. Alice was a highly respected journalist and leaves behind three children.
- Food writer Tom and Alice were "blissfully happy" together.
- Tom and former journalist Alice were together for two years after Tom split from his wife Sarah Buys in 2018.
- This follows the royal news that the Palace will be monitoring Prince Harry’s new job ‘very closely’.
We're sorry to hear the sad news that Tom Parker Bowles’ girlfriend, Alice Procope, has passed away seven months after being diagnosed with cancer. Alice was the granddaughter of the 2nd Viscount Ingleby and had three young children - Katherine, Wilfred and Georgia.
"Tom had been blissfully happy with Alice and is devastated that life can be so cruel," a friend of the couple told Eden Confidential. Alice, who is a mother to three children died peacefully at home on March 17.
Her death has shocked those in the industry, with fellow journalist Steph McGovern sharing a tribute to Alice.
Woah, bit of a shock today hearing about the death of Alice Procope. We worked together as journalists for a while. She was so much fun. Gutted for her family. 42 is no age. #ripAliceMarch 27, 2021

The Daily Mail reports that Alice's diagnosis was partially delayed due to the impact of Covid-19. They reported that a friend of the couple said, "Partly because of Covid, Alice's cancer diagnosis didn't come until last August by when it was too late.
"That's what's so really cruel and there will be countless others like her."
Her obituary in the Daily Telegraph reads, 'Alice died peacefully at home on 17th March, aged 42.
'Much loved mother of Katherine, Wilfred and Georgia, wife of Robert, and adored sister and daughter.
'Family funeral at St Gregory's Minster, Kirkdale in Yorkshire with memorial service in London later in the year.'
Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
