We've always suspected that Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge got along swimmingly. After all, the pair regularly conduct royal events together alongside the Duke of Cambridge, and when they're pictured out and about together, they're always seen giggling and chatting away.
And it seems the two really do get along like a house on fire, according to a new interview Prince Harry has given with US publication Newsweek. In the interview, the fifth-in-line to the throne shed some light on the adorable brother-sister relationship he has with the Duchess.
In an excerpt from the feature, the journalist noted how Catherine has managed to fill some of the void left in Harry's life following the death of his mother, Princess Diana.
"There was no filling the hole left by Diana's death, and Harry seemed to be growing up without someone emotionally available he could lean on. Kate has helped fill some of that gap. When she and William got engaged, Harry called her the big sister he never had.

The story also went on to reveal how Catherine is often partial to cooking up a meal for her brother-in-law, given how close they live to one another. Prince Harry resides at Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace, while William and Catherine live just a short walk over in Apartment 1Aa.
The interview reads, "He often pops into their apartment at Kensington Palace, where she cooks him a meal - roast chicken is reportedly a particular favourite."
Harry has spoken before about his close friendship with Catherine, at her wedding to Prince William in 2011. He admitted that although he's been a member of the royal for longer than she has, she'll probably be the one guiding him in future royal duties!
He said, "To have a big sister is very, very nice. I've got to know Catherine pretty well, but now that she's becoming part of the family, I'm really looking forward to getting her under my wing - or she'll be taking me under her wing probably."
A royal insider has also previously told the Daily Mail how Prince Harry allows the Duchess of Cambridge to explore her more light-hearted side.
The insider said, "Kate has quite a different relationship with Harry than she has with William. Harry appeals to her sillier side because he is carefree, footloose and loves banter. He finds things funny about people and says so.
"William, partly because of his position, partly because of his character, plays it safe like his father, whereas Harry is free and easy, with a "let's have the whole bottle" sort of attitude."
And it seems the relationship also extends to the Duchess' children, George and Charlotte, "Kate also adores the way Harry plays with her children - he is very good with them, a charming big kid and silly uncle." We can imagine George and Charlotte are equally as fond of their Uncle Harry, too.
