Every day we bring you the latest news on Sarah, Duchess of York, everything you need to know about the royal. We love keeping up with all the royal news here at woman&home, and help to keep our readers in the know on what Sarah is up to – like her latest career milestones, her best social media updates and her bond with her daughers, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice. Duchess Sarah was born in London on 15th October 1959. She was introduced to the royal family when she married Prince Andrew, Her Majesty the Queen’s second son, back in 1986. It is believed that Sarah and Prince Andrew were childhood friends that grew apart as they got older. It is reported that they were reunited by the late Princess Diana herself during a trip to Ascot in 1985. Two years after their wedding, they welcomed their first daughter, Princess Beatrice, while Princess Eugenie followed in 1990. After ten years of marriage, the royal pair announced they were to separate. Despite their divorce, the ex husband and wife duo have maintained a close bond and tight family unit, with their daughters who are ninth and tenth in line to the throne. She currently lives at Royal Lodge, York family's royal residence in Windsor. Nowadays Duchess Sarah keeps busy with diligent charity work with organisations such as Caudwell Children, Street Child and the Children's Air Ambulance. She has also been the author of over 25 books. She is also in line to write seven more children’s books, three of which are set to be released in late 2020.
