The Queen has just bestowed a very prestigious award on sex toy brand Lovehoney.

The award is a huge deal for the brand behind some of the best vibrators, and recognizes its "outstanding continuous growth" over the last few years. The accolade permits the company to use the Queen's emblem across its marketing and product packaging for the next five years.

Lovehoney is something of a household name when it comes to sex toys, and their gadgets, paired with the best sex positions, are a great way to turn things up a notch in the bedroom.

According to Metro, the brand's overseas sales have increased by 365% since 2015, rising from £12 million to a whopping £56 million. Not too surprising when you consider the surge in popularity of no-strings sex apps in recent years.

"We are thrilled to have received official recognition from the Queen," Lovehoney's CCO Debbie Bond said of the news. "Her Majesty has been a wonderful supporter of Lovehoney as we have grown into being the world’s leading sexual wellness brand.

"Royal patronage will help us to create more jobs at our Bath headquarters and in our international offices and spread the sexual happiness message globally."

She continued, "The Queen is the UK’s greatest trade ambassador and royal approval shows again how mainstream shoppers and retail outlets are embracing sexual wellness products as never before and appreciating their importance in improving overall well-being—a particularly important message as we come out of lockdown after a stressful year living with the pandemic.

"A huge well done to the Lovehoney team on tremendous performance over the last few years—here’s to a bigger and brighter 2021!"

It's not the first time the company has been recognized by Her Majesty, having won the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade five years ago.

Fancy that!
