Kate Middleton stuns with new red hair color that's perfect for fall

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has debuted a brand new auburn red-brown hairstyle for the first ever Earthshot Prize Awards in London.

Kate Middleton's hair transformations have delighted fans since she first came into the spotlight over a decade ago. Although the Duchess has never strayed too far from her classic mid-length brunette look, the style icon has tinted and trimmed her hair in order to keep up with modern trends. 

On October 17, 2021, Duchess Kate and her husband Prince William attended the first-ever Earthshot Prize Award in London. 

At the event, the Duchess debuted her newly red-tinted hair that had a gentle auburn look that is just perfect for the fall.

Kate wore her long locks in big bouncy curls. This style was certainly aided by Duchess Catherine's shampoo that helps with heat protection and allows the royal to get big curls into her long, healthy hair.

The Duchess also had caramel highlights that were gently spread across her hair and highlighted the reddish tone to her newly dyed hair.

The red tone of the Duchess' hair was perfectly offset by her icy blue, lavender dress that cinched in at the waist. This pale dress highlighted the healthy reddish tone to her tresses. 

Kate's hair showed that she has a fashion-forward styling team, as her auburn hair is one of the most popular 2021 hair color trends. Copper tones and renaissance red hues are the most trendy looks of the year and are the perfect shade for a more autumnal look.

The Duchess isn't the only celebrity to try out this auburn look as earlier in the year, Margot Robbie was spotted with stunning new red hair on the set of her new film. Similarly, Charlize Theron's dramatic red hair transformation shocked fans earlier in the year as she too strayed away from her classic look.

Some think that Kate Middleton’s hair is an indicator that she’s pregnant again, as the Duchess often distracts the public with a new hairstyle when she is expecting a baby. 

It is unknown if this is the case and nothing has been announced by the royal family. The Duchess and Prince William are already parents to three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, all of whom are in the royal line of succession.
