The Duchess of Cornwall gives us a masterclass on statement jewelry with her latest outfit in Cornwall.

Duchess Camilla's fashion choices have us sitting up and paying attention lately. Today saw Duchess Camilla bringing back her iconic 'South West dress' as she teamed up with Fiona Bruce on a special visit to Cornwall. While earlier in the summer, Camilla revealed her summer fashion must-have - a stylish costume so she can try a spot of wild swimming if the opportunity arises!

The dress, which was previously worn during her and Charles' tour of the South West region earlier this year, was expertly paired with some statement gold earrings that added a sophisticated element to her outfit - perfect for what looks like a delightful late-summer afternoon.

The future Queen Consort travelled to the Eden Project in Cornwall for a special appearance on an episode of The Antiques Roadshow alongside Fiona Bruce on Tuesday 6 September.

The large gold hoops makes a change from Duchess Camilla's signature pearl earrings, which she's often seen sporting at royal engagements - but there is something the two earrings style have in common.

It was recently revealed during an interview with Vogue to mark the Duchess's 75th birthday that the Duchess actually doesn't have her ears pieced, so these earrings will actually be clip-on.

The Duchess revealed this lesser-known fact when discussing being a grandparent with the magazine. "You know the nice thing about being a grandmother is that you can spoil them occasionally, give them more of the things that their parents forbid them to have," she revealed.

“The girls are beginning to get into clothes and make-up and, you know, it’s rather frightening when you see them, coming out with pierced ears and a lot of new make-up and funny colored hair and stuff."

She then continued, revealing her own ears aren't pierced, "[The grandchildren] will try to persuade me, but nothing's going to pierce my ears."

It's great to see that Camilla can still find stylish clip-on earrings for any occasion!
