This premium vacuum is so good you could eat off the floor that it cleans - yes, really
It's a clean sweep for the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum
This is one of the most underrated cordless vacuums on the market. It feels premium, has powerful suction, and impressive run times. Yes, it's a little pricy and top-heavy, but it makes up for that in performance.

Why you can trust Woman & Home
You know that phrase, “clean enough that you could eat off it”? Well, Bosch took it literally. Their Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum is engineered to leave floors so sparkling that, technically, you could sit down with a knife and fork, though I’d still stick to the table. This is a machine designed to impress not just with performance but with precision, reliability, and style.
Bosch is a brand that makes sense when you’re on the hunt for the best vacuums. They’ve been designing cleaning appliances for decades, and it shows: every curve, button, and attachment is thoughtfully considered. And the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum promises to rival big names like Dyson and Shark, delivering power and flexibility without making cleaning feel like a mini workout.
With that in mind, I put the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum through rigorous, head-to-head tests to see whether it truly deserves a crown in the world of cordless vacuums. From fine dust to cereal spills, rugs to hardwood, hair to pet fur, I examined every corner of a busy family home to see how it performed. Here’s what I found.

Who would the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum suit?
The Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower vacuum is best suited to busy households that need a reliable, good-looking cordless cleaner with the muscle to handle pets, children, and everyday messes (including the odd baking mishap).
As a cordless option, it’s a smart choice if you’re dealing with mixed flooring and pet hair, because Bosch uses just one floorhead and a whole host of smart technology to adjust suction and power depending on where you are vacuuming. It's a nice change not having to carry lots of attachments and floorheads around with you.
Whilst I thought this was a little weighty at first, the way that it glides makes this actually a really smooth, easy vacuum to clean the whole house with. Team that with strong suction, a versatile floorhead, and a well-thought-out set of attachments, it adapts easily to almost any cleaning task without unnecessary faff.
Unboxing the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum
I'll let you peek behind the curtain here. When testing products for reviews, sometimes the units have already been in other hands, so I don’t always get the “brand-new” unboxing experience. My Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum had clearly been tested before, so I can't guarentee that your packaging will be identical. However, it's highly likely that it'll be close.

The box itself was slim, svelte, and easy to lift, a promising start that suggested the vacuum would be just as manageable in daily use. Inside, Bosch supplies a mix of easily recyclable cardboard and soft plastics. While I would have loved fully recyclable packaging, it’s functional and unpacks without fuss.
The kit inside includes a battery and charger (I recommend plugging it in immediately to get full performance); your universal floorhead suitable for all floor types; and three specialist attachments for crevices, upholstery, and tricky corners.
Everything feels robust and well-built, clearly designed to survive the chaos of family life. And unlike some purely functional vacuums, the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum looks sleek and premium. It’s the vacuum equivalent of a designer handbag.
What is the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum like to use?
Once I plugged in the battery, two green charging dots confirmed it was almost ready to go. Bosch estimates a full charge takes around 60-65 minutes, which matched my testing. Picking it up, I noticed a little more weight near the handle and top of the Bosch, but the vacuum glided smoothly across every surface, balancing ergonomics with power. The handle is comfortable, easy to grip even after long cleaning sessions, and switching between suction modes is simple. This meant that, even after a whole day of testing, the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum didn't feel cumbersome or tricky to use, which is a relief for my poor biceps.
I particularly appreciated the all-in-one floorhead over the course of the day, because it saves on fumbling around swapping attachments for different floors. It's an underappreciated consideration, which lots of companies claim, but often I find that you end up with a vacuum floorhead that's neither suited to carpets or hard floors. Luckily, that's not the case with the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum. That smooth handling made this one of my favourite vacuums to use.
My formal tests work through a few different types of debris. I start off with 100g of flour and sugar, which are designed to mimic lighter dust and spills. I scatter this on wood floor, stone floor, carpet, and linoleum to get a sense of performance over different floor types. Across all floor types tests, I could see the Bosch collecting everything without a fuss.
The only hitch was a light layer left where the wheels were on stone floor, but when I pulled the vacuum back towards my body, the Bosch collected up what little flour and sugar was left behind. Inside the bin, I weighed the full 100g back out, which is perfect proof that the Bosch picked up every last flour particle (and possibly some extras).
The next test works with larger debris for when you accidentally scatter cereal on the floor or when the dog enthusiastically motors kibble under the sofa and kitchen island. Cordless vacuums often struggle to get the suction power to really pick the 100g of granola up, especially from hard floors like wood. As with the flour, I ran tests across all surfaces. To my great relief, the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum didn’t break a sweat picking it up off my carpet. Although when I was testing it on a rug, the Bosch ended up sucking up some of the rug, in the transition between floor types. It's not ideal and did leave the rug looking somewhat dishevelled, but it was also spotlessly clean, so who am I to argue?
The other section of this test to note is that on my stone and hardwood floor, the Bosch did do a little bit of snow ploughing and scattering, which isn’t unusual for vacuums. The important part of the tests were that, when slowed down, the Bosch managed to pick up every last oat and raisin.
The final test for all vacuums is the hair test. In my house, we have some long-haired ladies as well as a 40kg dog, so there’s a fair amount of hair floating around. I chop 30g of hair extensions and scatter them around the house to make life even harder for the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum.
After finishing a whole house clean, making use of the crevice and upholstery tools, I had managed to vacuum up all the hair and pick up a satisfying amount of dog hair from her favourite spots on the chair and sofa. The best part, aside from having a clean home, is that no hair had tangled around the rollers, so I didn’t have the grim job of needing to cut it or pull it out. There doesn't seem to be a limit on what the Bosch could do.
Another element of the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum that I really appreciate is how dextrous it is. We have a kitchen island that is certainly the culprit for harbouring a lot of mess and yet the Bosch, with me crouched down could reach right through it. The floorhead is also slim enough to reach under radiators and it can be twisted to almost 90 degree angles to work around difficult areas of the home. It really is impressive.
Cleaning and maintaining the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum
Like any high-performance vacuum, the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum fills its dustbin fairly quickly under heavy use. This isn't surprising in a home with five people, multiple floors, and a dog.
In a full top-to-bottom clean, I had to empty it twice, which is reasonable and straightforward thanks to the clear bin design and easy-release mechanism. Filters are simple to remove and rinse, and overall, maintenance is fuss-free, which is exactly what you want in a vacuum you’ll reach for daily.
The run time, true to promise did heat nearly 100 minutes when I was using it in Eco mode. Of course, you might want to up the power and speed of yours, but that doesn't take too much out of the overall run time. It's also worth noting that in reality, 100 minutes of solid vacuuming is a lot to work through. Most of us aren't actually using ours for more than 50 minutes.
How does the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum compare?
Now, you're probably wondering how the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum stacks up against the other cordless vacuums that I've tested. For a vacuum that retails above £500, you're really putting Bosch head-to-head with the likes of Dyson. The Dyson V8 retails around £400, which is a touch cheaper than the Bosch. Whilst you are getting the name with the Dyson, I'd say that's about it in comparison. The Bosch has smarter floor sensitive technology, more accessories, and a longer run-time. Don't get me wrong, the Dyson V8 is still a fantastic cordless vacuum, but it doesn't really compare to the performance of the Bosch.
It would be remiss of me not to mention a Shark cordless vacuum here too. The one that springs to mind is the Shark Detect Clean & Empty Vacuum, which I love. This comes with it's own self-emptying station, which is a bonus for any allergy sufferers and has nice extra touches, including that it can stay upright independently, bend in the middle of the hose, and automatically adjust suction to lift dirt from skirting boards. All of that won't cost you more than £540 and it's often reduced too. Why not go for the Shark? I felt the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum had a little more of a premium feel: it vacuumed with more power, so I needed to make fewer passes and overall seemed to have a little more sophistication. The Shark is brilliant for techy extras and maximising on price, the Bosch brings quality.
Should you buy the Bosch Unlimited 10 ProPower Vacuum?
Bosch has created a cordless vacuum that balances power, design, and practicality. It glides like a dream, cleans like a pro, and looks sleek enough that you might actually want to leave it on display. From fine flour to pet hair, it handles every challenge with ease, and the clever engineering means less faff and more clean. If you’re looking for a cordless vacuum that can suck up anything life throws at you — and maybe even leave your floors “knife-and-fork clean” — the Bosch is well worth the investment.
How we test vacuums
At woman&home we have a series of standardised tests that we put every vacuum through. We start with vacuuming finer particles, such as flour and sugar up from different floor types and work up to lifting hair up from deep-pile carpets. I also talk about unboxing and set-up, maintenance, battery life, and I'll compare the vacuum to other models to make sure that it's good value for money By the end of each review, you should have a detailed, holistic idea of what every vacuum is like to use. If you're interested to see behind, you can read our dedicated page on how we test vacuums.
