    A bit of a wild card perhaps because of its location, but Delia’s Restaurant and Bar in Norwich City Football Ground makes it onto our list for its elegant menu that features plenty of fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. For a set price, you’re greeted with nibbles, followed by a starter, main and dessert, as well as filter coffee and “something sweet”. The recipes are cooked to Delia Smith’s exacting standards, which makes this restaurant a real treat.

    Galton at Morston Hall

    This is just the place for a real gastronomical experience in an intimate country house hotel. Galton at Morston Hall has a Michelin star and of you really enjoy it, you can book yourself into one of the rooms unstairs and stay for breakfast too! Confession time: it’s about an hour away from Norwich, but well worth the travel time.

    The Gunton Arms

    Pub food at its finest, The Gunton Arms is located in a sprawling historic park in North Nofolk, where you can sit comfortably by a blazing fire and enjoy hearty and comforting dishes.     Middletons Steak House and Grill

    This smart steak house, located in the heart of Norwich, is the perfect place for relaxed dining at any time of the day. All the meat is locally sourced and delivered daily from their very own butcher, and on a Sunday you can enjoy a really hearty Sunday roast. Very reasonably priced, you can either order a set menu or a la carte, but make sure you book in advance as it gets very busy, particularly at weekends!
