These 9 new-in Zara pieces under £90 are at the top of my wishlist for an autumn refresh
From easy denim to a polished blazer, these chic new-in pieces will give you a wardrobe update without a big spend
Zara’s latest collection has me ready to fully embrace the cooler temperatures, and after weeks of heatwaves, I’d almost forgotten about trousers and layering! But browsing their new-in section has reminded me just how much I enjoy getting dressed during this time of year. Give me a cosy knit, a blazer and a great pair of jeans, and I’m happy.
I’m looking for pieces that feel premium but won't cost me a lot, and that are easy to style. The things I consider when planning my autumn outfit ideas are cosy knits–ideally made from natural fibres to wear on cooler days–as well as smart blazers, sharp tailored separates and, of course, sturdy footwear; oh, and we can't forget a new practical tote bag.
Zara’s new-in is a particularly good place to start, especially if you are shopping on a high-street budget. This season there is a really good range of wearable, everyday staples as well as elevated pieces that feel far more expensive than their price tags suggest. Something that stands out is their premium knitwear. There are plenty of designs made from wool, cashmere and even alpaca. This is exactly what I'm looking to add to my wardrobe right now. So here are the 9 pieces under £90 I’m considering shopping for the season ahead.
There's something about the contrasting buttons on this cardigan that feels slightly gothic, tying into one of the autumn/winter 2026 fashion trends, "gothic romance". It's made from 100% wool for a cosy finish, and it has a smart mock neckline.
Barrel-leg jeans never fail to impress, and if you're looking to freshen up your current collection, this pair are worth buying. They have a mid-blue wash and a relaxed, curved silhouette. Tuck in a simple T-shirt or smarten up with a blazer and loafers.
Jeans and a blazer season is upon us, and this straight-cut blazer will be the chicest finishing touch to your favourite denim. Alternatively, style it with the matching balloon trousers.
Bomber jackets are set to remain one of the key outerwear trends this season, and this suede pick is a sophisticated take on the trend. Wear it as part of a white jeans outfit for maximum impact.
What I notice is that Zara does well at taking trends that we're seeing in luxury brand collections and translating them into pieces that feel wearable and have accessible price points. This season, there are rich suede jackets, beautiful knitwear with interesting designs, and sharp tailoring that doesn't feel generic, as well as everyday staples that have considered details, such as the shirt with frog fastenings. So if your wardrobe needs a little refresh as we enter autumn, it's worth keeping your eye on their website.
