Sara Cox makes the case for wearing bright pink long into autumn with one clever styling trick

We're well into September now, so you’d be forgiven for wanting to lean into the warmer, moodier colours of autumn with your wardrobe. But Sara Cox and her stylist Stevie B just made a great case for embracing bright pink instead.
Sara’s outfit was based around ME+EM’s pleat barrel trouser, with their camel brown hue feeling warm and smart for this transitional time of year. A pair of Boohoo faux suede tab detail western cowboy ankle boots were perfectly placed to complement this colour, with their stoney beige hue feeling light and neutral – but it was Stevie’s choice of top that really set this look apart.
Injecting a bold pop of pink into Sara’s outfit, Stevie finished the look with ME+EM’s button-front baby tee in the shade ‘summer pink.’ She could have gone for something more neutral but, as she told woman&home, "I particularly love having fun with colour when styling Sara. I love working with black as a stylist, which I know breaks some styling rules. However, with Sara I’m always more drawn to colour."
