Margot Robbie proves sandal season isn’t over yet with the easiest dungarees and slides outfit
Her "incredibly comfortable" sandals are available to buy
You might be eyeing up autumnal ankle boots, but sandal season certainly isn't over just yet. Margot Robbie showed us how it's done when she was photographed in Paris this month, wearing a casual yet chic combination made up of some surprisingly budget-friendly dungarees and a pair of double-strap sandals.
The dungarees are from Urban Outfitters, and I love the autumnal brown colour, but it's the rich cognac shade and suede footbed of Margot's comfortable sandals that have really got me reaching for my credit card. They'll work perfectly with straight or barrel-leg jeans and a lightweight knit as the weather starts to change, and the timeless design means you'll dig them out of your wardrobe year after year.
Add in a pair of Chanel cat-eye sunglasses, and this has to be one of my all-time favourite casual looks on Margot. She layered her jumpsuit over a strappy crop top, but you could wear a long-sleeved white T-shirt or even a button-down shirt underneath if you'd prefer some arm coverage as the weather tries to decide what it's doing.

The plush suede fabric is really drawing me to these sandals. The gold detail really elevates them, and the customer reviews are impressive. One wrote: "I absolutely love this shoe. Coming from a person with a high arch, it makes it really difficult to find the right fit. I have walked miles in these shoes with absolutely zero pain and barely had to break them in."
This is really similar to Margot's all-in-one, and it would be perfect if you're lucky enough to still have a holiday coming up. It's easy to throw on for travelling, but could be dressed up with sandals and gold jewellery when you arrive. Easy to pack in a suitcase, too!
This is the black version of Margot's jumpsuit, and at this price, it's bound to sell out soon. The straps are adjustable, and it's a great layering piece. Try chucking a chunky knit over the top and adding your most comfortable trainers if it's too rainy for sandals.
It's not too late in the summer to buy a pair of the best sunglasses. A fresh twist on the classic cat eye frames, these are currently in the sale and you'll find yourself reaching for them on sunny but cool autumnal days.
Just because we’re hurtling towards September, it doesn’t mean it’s time to forget about sandals. Warm afternoons, sunny weekends and those lingering high temperatures mean there’s still plenty of life left in open-toe styles.
The trick is all in how you style them. Pair strappy sandals with relaxed tailoring or denim, and as long as you can layer up with a lightweight jacket, you should be warm enough. Just watch out for rain!
