If you're prepping for your summer holiday but find yourself without a mani appointment and no time to book one, let this juicy essie nail polish come to your rescue - with its quick dry time and cocktail-inspired colour.
While there are plenty of chic and subtle looks to be found amongst this summer's nail trends, if you need a quick, high-impact, low-effort manicure, sparkling spritz nails or juicy fruit-inspired shades are your best friends. Unlike a sheer nail polish, which, in our experience, often requires a few coats to ensure a streak-free finish, a statement shade like red can deliver a fast and very luxe-looking manicure in minutes. The very same can be said of a certain essie nail polish that we've spotted gaining traction, which combines both the aforementioned themes: a bright pop of fruity colour with a cocktail-y twist.

Much like its namesake cocktail, this essie shade is bursting with juiciness. It's not quite as peachy as you'd perhaps expect - it's more of a hot pink-coral shade, which personally we think is very suited for right now. Formula-wise, it's very pigmented and bright, ideal for achieving a statement and streak-free look quickly. And while the colour itself does boast a lovely shine, we recommend topping it with another clear coat to help push the glassy finish even further and help ward off chips.
Just look at that vibrant, juicy colour: everything about it oozes August nails to us. It's such a great shade for a sun-soaked holiday, but equally for adding a pop of summery colour to your outfits, regardless of whether you're jetting anywhere this month - especially if you apply it to your toes too. A matching mani/pedi always affords a certain chic, 'put-togetherness.'
Like popular watermelon nails, this shade just feels right for this time of year and can be made to look very expensive and chic when doing your nails at home, with a glossy finish. That said, its closeness to red also makes it a nice transitional shade as we approach September. It's like the perfect outro to the season.
