Is David Bowie’s new single worth downloading?…Today’s Debate

David Bowie’s release of a single yesterday – his first for a decade – has got us all very excited at w&h, just like the rest of the world!

Many of us have been humming our favourite Bowie tracks and there really are so many fantastic ones to choose from aren’t there? Heroes, Life on Mars, Let’s Dance, Starman, Changes, Ashes to Ashes…the list of his genius songs goes on and on.

The excitement over Bowie has also got us reminiscing about the other pop acts from the 70s and 80s that we loved so well. The Rolling Stones, Queen, the Bee Gees, the Kinks, the Clash… They just don’t make ’em like they used to, do they?!

Which is why it’s so great Bowie is back. We are definitely going to be pre-ordering the album and booking tickets to his exhibition at the V&A, coming this spring.

How about you – are you a fan of Bowie? Which is your favourite track? And which other artists from the 70s and 80s do you love to listen to? Tell us in the comments box below and in our forums now…
