The ‘Fab Four’ are set to reunite for a special event in honour of the late Princess Diana

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Duchess Catherine Middleton are set to reunite for the first time since the Sussex’s walked away from royal life, during the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue. 

• The ‘Fab Four,’ as they were previously known, haven’t been seen together since the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey 
• Royal expert, Katie Nicholl, says the “intention” is that the four of them will be present at the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue, due to be installed on July 1 2021 
• It follows royal news that Prince William was traumatised 'for weeks on end' during air ambulance pilot days 

They haven’t been pictured together since their frosty reunion at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey last year, days before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the royal family.

But, royal fans might not have to wait that long before the Fab Four reunite again.

According to royal expert, Katie Nicholl, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the unveiling of a Princess Diana memorial statue, that is due to be installed on July 1 2021 - what would have been her 60th birthday. 

Speaking on True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat podcast - available on True Royalty TV from Saturday 16th January, Katie said tensions have definitely thawed between the brothers in recent months.

“This time last year, [Prince William and Prince Harry] weren’t talking to one and another. Things are better. There are still things to overcome but I think they all realise that you do have to move on in life. 

“The intention is that the four of them will be together for the unveiling of Diana’s statue.”

The statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, which was said to be one of her favourite places in the royal household.

The brothers commissioned the statue of their late mother back in 2018, on the 20th anniversary of her tragic death. It has been three years in the making. 

The significant anniversary was passed in a series of engagements and documentaries. And for the first time, the Princes opened up about the devastating impact of the loss of their mother and how the grief still affects them, 20 years on. 

Prince Harry confessed, “There’s, you know, there’s a lot of — there’s a lot of grief that still needs to be let out.

“There’s not a day that William and I don’t wish that she was still around. We wonder what kind of a mother she would be now, and what kind of a public role she would have, and what a difference she would be making.”
