A royal photographer has praised Kate Middleton's amateur photography—calling her pictures 'impressive' and 'beautiful'.

The royal photographer has praised the Duchesses family portraits, calling the picture of Prince William and their children a 'winner'.

Arthur Edwards, who was speaking on ITV's The Royal Rota podcast, said, "The picture that I love most that she's done is William and the three children on the swing. I would have killed to have taken that picture."

"Everybody's laughing at their mum, and you know that only a mother or a father could get that picture, and it's an absolute winner. Charlotte with her arm around daddy, you know, "daddy's girl". It's a lovely picture, I was so full of praise for her on that."

Kate has been taking pictures of her family for the last few years, including her childrens' official birthday portraits.

While Arthur even went on to admit that he was a 'great admirer' of the Duchesses photography skills and believes she has 'grasped it very quickly.'

He carried on with the compliments by saying, "Her pictures are beautifully composed, they're beautifully lit, and she's just got the best subject in the world, of course. But she delivers.

"I'm a kind of fan of her now — a fan of not just photography, but the way she's totally just made that role so brilliant."

Kate, who is thought to use an old Canon Powershot G12 compact camera to take her pictures, released her first photography book called Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation in 2020 last month.
