Prince Harry is staying with Princess Eugenie and her new son ahead of Prince Philip's funeral

Prince Harry is allegedly staying with his cousin Princess Eugenie ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday 13th April 2021. 

• Prince Harry has moved in with his cousin Princess Eugenie ahead of Prince Philip's funeral.

• The Prince and Princess share a special bond and this will be Prince Harry's first opportunity to meet his cousin's baby.

Prince Harry is currently staying with his cousin Eugenie at his former home, Frogmore Cottage while he is in the UK for his grandfather’s funeral. It was reported, “Prince Harry reunited with his cousin Princess Eugenie after flying home to the UK for his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral, Page Six has confirmed.”

Princess Eugenie is one of the members of Harry and Meghan's closest relations in the Royal family. Royal expert Katie Nicholls told OK! magazine revealed, “Eugenie and Jack are very close to Harry and Meghan.” She continued to say, “It's actually one of the few close relationships Harry and Meghan have retained in the royal family.”

It was revealed that Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie share a lot of personality traits and the pair would often go clubbing together in London. "Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest, and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London," royal authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote in their biography, Finding Freedom. 

When Harry and Meghan relocated to the US, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank moved into his former home at Frogmore cottage where they have recently welcomed their first child. This will be Harry’s first time meeting his cousin’s son August. 

Princess Eugenie's son's full name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. Eugenie revealed on Instagram, "On his grandfather’s birthday weekend, thinking of my grandfather, we are introducing our little boy. He is named after his great-grandfather and both of his great x5 grandfathers.”

This isn’t the only Royal birth that Harry has missed while he has been across the pond, as his other cousin Zara Tindall also gave birth to her third child named Lucas with her husband Mike Tindall. 

It's unclear if Harry and other Royals will be able to meet the newest members of the family, as strict rules dictate that only 30 people can attend funerals in the UK. This means that Prince William and Kate's children will most likely not attend Prince Philip's funeral either.
