The reasons that Princess Eugenie is one of Harry and Meghan’s favorite royal family members have been revealed

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have distanced themselves from many members of the Royal Family recently, but Princess Eugenie is not one of them.
As her first cousin, Prince Harry has remained in contact with Eugenie despite his dramatic move to the US with Meghan Markle last year. The royal couple reportedly also gets on well with Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank.
“Eugenie and Jack are very close to Harry and Meghan,” royal expert Katie Nicholls told OK! magazine. “It's actually one of the few close relationships Harry and Meghan have retained in the royal family.”
The couple’s rapport with one another isn’t exactly surprising - Meghan was actually acquainted with Eugenie before she met Harry. "Eugenie and I had known each other before I had known Harry, so that was comfortable," Meghan said to Oprah. "We're friends with them as a couple."
Eugenie has also always been a close confidante for Harry, who reportedly used to seek advice from her on dating and relationships. Just five years apart in age, the pair shared plenty of experiences with each other growing up. “Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest, and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London," royal authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote in their biography, Finding Freedom.
Eugenie was also there to lend a hand during the preparation of Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018. "Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank made a trip to see the couple around a month ago for Meghan to help the bride-to-be with her wedding plans," a royal insider told the MailOnline at the time.

Harry and Meghan returned the favor in a major way, gifting the couple their home after they left for a new life in the US. Eugenie and Jack are currently residing in the newly renovated Frogmore Cottage at Windsor, where they are busy taking care of their newborn baby.
