Meghan Markle makes a huge announcement about a new creative project

It looks like Meghan Markle is dabbling in the publishing industry. The Duchess of Sussex just revealed that she is releasing a children's book in June with Penguin Random House, and it sounds like it'll be the perfect bedtime story for your tots. 

• Meghan Markle is releasing her picture book titled The Bench on June 8, 2021. 

• The Bench focuses on a relationship between father but through a mother's point of view.

Meghan Markle is getting her creative inspiration right from home. 

The Duchess of Sussex just revealed that her picture book with Penguin Random House, The Bench, will hit shelves next month and focus on a special bond between father and son. (And right in time for Father's Day!) Naturally, she got the idea from watching her husband, Prince Harry, and his relationship with their nearly 2-year-old son, Archie. 

"Evoking a deep sense of warmth, connection, and compassion, The Bench gives readers a window into shared and enduring moments between a diverse group of fathers and sons—moments of peace and reflection, trust and belief, discovery and learning, and lasting comfort," the press release states. 

The picture book features watercolor illustrations from Christian Robinson and is meant to feature a diverse cast of characters. Meghan aimed to tell her story through an "inclusive lens." Audiobook options will be available via Listening Library in the U.S. and Canada and by Penguin Random House UK Audio in the UK, according to Bustle. 

She isn't the only royal to explore the publishing industry; Kate Middleton is set to release a coffee table book based off her photography project Hold Still, in which she aimed to capture life during lockdown.

What originally began as a poem for Prince Harry after Archie's birth has materialized into something much bigger—something that parents across the world will be able to share with their little ones.

"My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine," Meghan said in a statement.
