The Duchess of Cambridge travelled to Wisley, Surrey, this morning, to open her new garden project.
- Duchess Catherine looked beautiful in floral dress as she inaugurated the new location for her Back to Nature play garden.
- The royal had a very special guest alongside her – no less than national treasure Mary Berry.
- This follows royal news that Prince William wants to train for a new role in order to help emergency professionals.
The mum-of-three undertook a surprise visit to a festival in Wisley, to mark the official opening of her Back to Nature garden.
The project was originally displayed at at the Chelsea Flower Show back in May, and it was later also open to visitors at Hampton Court Palace.
As well as the original features, the new and improved version of Catherine’s garden includes two new connected tree houses for children and families to play in, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie.
The 37-year-old wore a gorgeous floral dress by Emilia Wickstead, paired with nude wedges – and we’re loving the beautiful summery look!
Thanks the 'Kate effect' the dress - which costs £1,635.00 - is now completely sold out.
She was also joined by former Bake Off star Mary Berry, who is an ambassador for the Royal Horticultural Society.
Kensington Palace shared pictures from the event on Twitter, alongside the caption: “Today The Duchess of Cambridge opened the #BacktoNature play garden at @RHSWisley and attended the Back to Nature festival, which celebrates the value of communities to our wellbeing and marks the culmination of the RHS garden project.
“The Back to Nature play garden at @RHSWisley was inspired by The Duchess of Cambridge's designs and includes elements such as the hollow log from the #RHSChelsea Flower Show garden, and the wildflower meadow and rolling hill showcased at #RHSHampton.
“At the #BacktoNature Festival The Duchess of Cambridge was joined by @The_RHS Ambassador Mary Berry, along with many of the charities and organisations The Duchess has met over the last eight years, who are all working every day to make our families and communities stronger.”
