The sales of silent vibrators and other quiet sex toys have dramatically increased during the lockdown as people have been investing in quiet pleasure.

Silent vibrator sales have skyrocketed during the lockdown as people have found a way to keep their private time, extremely private.
Ann Summers revealed that the sales of their silent sex toy, the Whisper Rabbit, have gone up 60% when compared to sales last year. The brand sells two ‘whisper’ vibrator products that are bright pink and both priced £50 and over.

The increase in sales has been attributed to the pandemic – sadly, loud sex is out but quiet self-pleasure is most definitely in!
Ann Summers also revealed that sales of luxury sex toys priced at over £100 were up 160% between November to February when compared to the same period the year before. The brand’s overall sales also tripled year-on-year in the first lockdown in spring 2020.
The rising interest in sex toys during the lockdown has also affected celebrities. Gwyneth Paltrow launched her new vibrator with her brand Goop this month, and Cara Delevingne became a co-owner and creative advisor of Lora DiCarlo, which manufactures a high-end vibrator priced at £270.
