The best flight deals ahead of Black Friday 2020:

Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for flight deals?

Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday are great opportunities to shop for flight deals. Falling within days of each other - on November 27 and November 30 in 2020 – often brands carry their Black Friday sale over the weekend and into Cyber Monday as well, giving you more time to find the right deal and best discounts.

For example, last year for Black Friday Ryanair launched a 10 day sale in the days before and after Black Friday and then offered a different deal every day for the duration of their sale.

Last year British Airways also launched their own “black and white sale” which lasted until Cyber Monday. The airline offered flights and European city breaks from as little as £99 per person.

Tui offered £150 off per booking using the a special code that was live from Black Friday and until the end of Cyber Monday.

The only thing to consider is, that often the tickets reduced in the Black Friday sale represent flights where airlines have empty seats that need filling. Once those seats are filled and the tickets are gone, they're gone. So if you wait until Cyber Monday and don't look at the Black Friday flight deals at all, you might miss out.

Don't forget to double-check the terms and conditions of all the above travel deals before booking and familiarise yourself with your destination's Covid-19 safety measures and travel restrictions.
