- 1 medium-sized cucumber, unpeeled
- 1 green apple, unpeeled
- 2 handfuls spinach (stalks removed)
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh root ginger, unpeeled
- a handful of parsley
- 1 lemon
- a pinch of cayenne pepper
In a juicer, juice the cucumber, apple and spinach together. Add a small piece of ginger and parsley and finish it off with a squeeze of lemon ? or for more a citrusy taste, juice the lemon with the rest of the vegetables at the beginning.
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper on top of the juice to give it an extra tang. Drink immediately or pour into an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 12 hours.
