Jane Fonda's Golden Globes (opens in new tab) look was as iconic as her Cecil B. DeMille award for contributions to film. 'Tonally chic' was clearly the blueprint here - from the monochromatic outfit Fonda wore to accept her award to her new silver hair color and smoked out eyeshadow.
For the virtual proceedings, Fonda's hairstylist, Jonathan Hanousek, added choppy layers to Fonda's grown-out pixie cut (opens in new tab). But what was all the more eye-catching was how shiny Fonda's hair looked under the lights - something that is notoriously hard to achieve with silver and grey strands. Hanousek's secret, reportedly, is adding an in-shower gloss such as L'Oreal Paris Le Colour Gloss in Clear.
As for makeup, smoke and neutral tones lent definition to the lids, while a rosy pink on the cheeks and lips added a youthful flush.

Her makeup artist David De Leon posted a handy crib sheet of everything he used to create Fonda's mesmerising look - all, of course, courtesy of L'Oreal Paris as Fonda is a brand ambassador.

De Leon started with L'Oréal's Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation, a medium coverage base, which is ideal for more mature skin as it needs only a featherlight dusting of powder to set it.
The Silver Couture Eyeshadow palette and Age Perfect Eyeliner in Charcoal were used to frame Fonda's eyes, while the jet-black Voluminous Mascara made her lashes look lifted and full-bodied.
Next the cheeks; De Leon buffed Age Perfect radiant Blush in Marigold and Rosewood over the apples of Fonda's cheeks.
The finishing touch was a slick of Age Perfect Lipstick in Pink Petal and Anti-Feather Lipliner in Nude Pink to prevent feathering.
