Halle Berry's summer perfume is this floral and fig, destination-inspired scent - and it's on sale

Combining airy florals, musks and creamy fig, Halle Berry's perfume is the perfect transitional summertime scent.

Inspired by the lush, floating gardens and sprawling lake of Inle, Halle Berry's summery perfume is chic, surprisingly versatile and currently on sale.

Right now, we're in that strange seasonal limbo where it's still warm, many of us are currently prepping to head on our summer vacations, and yet, there's a definite touch of autumn in the air and psyche. Thus, if you're currently in the market for a new signature scent, a long-lasting perfume that can do both - soft and floral, warm and chic - is a very good way to go. Bonus points for one that can also transport the mind and spirit to breathtaking vistas when the weather does inevitably turn grey and gloomy.

While there are plenty of solar perfumes and fruity perfumes that can do just that, Halle Berry's go-to delivers everything we want from a timeless and transitional scent, whilst combining one of this year's more luxurious fragrance trends: fig.

Taking to Instagram to share a carousel of how she was spending her birthday, with snaps of her lounging in the sun and enjoying chocolate-covered strawberries, the actress gave us a glimpse at a few of her beauty favourites too - see slide seven. Poised on the bathroom counter alongside an array of serums and creams, we spotted a fragrance, which, after some detective work, appears to be Memo Paris' enchantingly serene and floral 'Inlé' scent (though the packaging has seemingly been updated).

As the name suggests, the blend is inspired by Lake Inle in Myanmar, which is famed for its floating gardens and villages that are built on stilts and sprawl over the water. The scent marries fresh hints of bergamot and herbaceous tea accords with soft florals like osmanthus, jasmine and violet, while fig, cedarwood and musk lend the blend a delicate creaminess.

The opening notes sound so airy and summery, while the more lingering base notes pull this scent into cosy, autumnal territory. A lovely in-between-y blend for right now and the months to come.

Better still, it's currently on sale at both Notino and John Lewis (if you're looking for the larger 75ml bottle). If this is the first you're hearing of this modern perfume brand, it's actually a favourite of ours too, with its fruity-vanilla fragrance, Cap Camarat making an appearance in our beauty team's summer holiday perfume picks this year.
