The Strictly star has always been open about her struggles with booze.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she confessed that she and ex Norman Cook only managed to conceive after they both gave up the drink, saying “Me and Norm call [daughter] Nelly our gift of sobriety.”
Discussing her addiction, she said, “I tried to straighten myself out several times, but I’d always go back – it’s so hard when everyone around you is drinking.”
Zoe also revealed that the moment she knew she needed help came when her house in Hove was trashed following a wild, boozy party.
She said, “I sat sobbing, knowing if I didn’t stop I’d end up in a mental home. I called a therapist I’d been seeing and asked for help.”
