Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has shared a series of intimate photos from his wedding to the Queen’s granddaughter Princess Beatrice.
The British property developer, who is more commonly known as Edo, took to his Instagram page to share a selection of lovely photos from his and Beatrice’s secret nuptials that took place on Friday.
In a heartfelt tribute to his new wife, which he posted alongside the sweet photos, Edo wrote, ‘I carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart) i am never without it (anywhere i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
‘I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you
‘Here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
‘I carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)’.
Buckingham Palacehad previously shared a selection of official photos from the intimate ceremony, which took place at Windsor Castle in the presence of the Queen and Prince Philip, as well as Beatrice’s parents Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, who recently broke her silence for the first time since the surprise nuptials.
The surprise ceremony came after the couple were forced to postpone their original 29th May wedding date due to restrictions imposed by the coronavirus lockdown.
There’s no word yet on which wider members of the Royal Family were present at the wedding, but we’re sure the newly-married royal couple had a lovely day regardless.
Congratulations to the couple on their lovely news!
