The rumors are true: Prince William and Kate Middleton's YouTube channel has just launched! The couple announced their new project via the Kensington Royal Twitter account on May 5, much to the delight of royal fans everywhere.

The couple announced the news with a fun video clip, inviting their legions of royal fans to come and subscribe to their channel. We don't know about you, but we don't think it'll take them too long to pass the one million subscribers mark.

In the 25-second clip, Prince William joked to his wife, "By the way be careful what you say now because these guys, they're filming everything", to which Duchess Catherine responded, "I know!"

The candid footage was followed by a montage of some of the couple's many public engagements around the world, accompanied by some jazzy music.

When does Prince William and Kate Middleton's YouTube channel launch?

The channel, aptly named "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge", is already live for your viewing pleasure. Within an hour of announcing their new video project, the couple had already amassed tens of thousands of subscribers.

The announcement came around the same time that royal fans spotted a major change to Prince William and Kate Middleton's Instagram page—suggesting their social media accounts could be a big focus in the months to come.

What will the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's YouTube channel cover?

The announcement clip is currently the only video available on Prince William and Kate Middleton's YouTube channel, but we're sure it won't be long until their channel is full with videos of official engagements and their many charitable ventures.

We can't wait to see the family's first video! Do you think Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will feature? (We're hoping so.)
