Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles branded ‘the most boring people in the world’ by The View’s Meghan McCain
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have been heavily criticized by Meghan McCain on The View

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have received the unofficial title of “the most boring people in the world” from TV host Meghan McCain.
- Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have been labeled “the most boring people in the world” by TV host Meghan McCain.
- The View panelist criticized the royal couple’s public persona and condemned their treatment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
- In other royal news, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge make a major Instagram change—but what does this mean?
Meghan McCain doesn't like Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles—and she's not afraid to show it.
The View's outspoken pundit shared her controversial opinions on the couple on Wednesday's episode, criticizing their personas along with their treatment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The unapologetic rant comes after Prince Charles thanked royal fans for their condolences with a rare childhood photo of him and Prince Philip.
“I would literally rather eat a muddy tire than have to watch or have anything to do with Camilla and Charles,” McCain said during the virtual discussion. “I find them the most boring people in the world, and I can say that because I'm an American.”

McCain, who has long been a vocal opponent of the Royal Family, went on to condemn Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles for “the way they treated Meghan Markle and Harry.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hit the headlines in January 2020 after they announced they were stepping back as senior royals, a decision that reportedly caused a rift between Prince Harry and Prince Charles. McCain has expressed her solidarity with Meghan and Harry multiple times since they stepped down, showing support in particular for their defiance of the British monarchy.
“I think Americans are pretty protective over them right now,” McCain added. “She went over there, tried to help modernize something that's in my perspective, old, archaic and deeply irrelevant.”

The Republican broadcaster's comments were met with some equally strong reactions online, with many royals fans outraged by the rant.
“I don't think @MeghanMcCain will need to worry about eating that muddy tyre as there is zero chance of Charles and Camilla wanting to breathe the same air as her,” one Twitter user wrote.

McCain’s criticism of the British monarchy is nothing new. The former Fox News correspondent blasted the UK Government on The View in March, leaving co-host Whoopi Goldberg momentarily speechless.
In response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah, McCain dismissed monarchies as “stupid” and insisted that the “American experiment is the way to go.” The patriotic spiel went viral, with many viewers highly amused by Whoopi's baffled reaction to her colleague’s words. After a second of silence, the confused-looking Sister Act star simply replied, “Okay” before moving on to another topic.
