Mike Tindall has shared the unique way he prepped his eight-month-old son to be christened—and it might be a trick new parents will appreciate.
The former English rugby player and Zara Tindall, Princess Anne's daughter, baptized baby Lucas alongside Princess Eugenie's son, August, in a private ceremony at the Royal Lodge in Great Windsor Park on Sunday afternoon.
The religious celebration for the newest additions to the Queen's great-grandchildren was attended by numerous members of the Royal Family, including Her Majesty, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke of York, and Peter Phillips (who just so happened to take a mysterious plus-one.)
Speaking on the latest episode of The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby podcast, Mike shared some new details on the special occasion.

When asked by co-host if Lucas enjoyed the "dunking" of his head in Holy Water, the businessman said, "He did actually. I took him swimming in the morning, I think I'd readied him for it, so he was quite looking forward to it when the water was coming at him."
"It was lovely... a lovely day," he added.

While no official photographs of the ceremony were released, the Queen was spotted leaving the Royal Chapel of Saints in her car at approximately 5 pm.
The sighting was met with widespread relief from royal fans, many of whom have been concerned for the 95-year-old's wellbeing over the past couple of months.
Her Majesty has been forced to cancel several appearances since the beginning of October, including a two-day tour to Northern Ireland and a visit to the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. In November, the Queen missed the Remembrance Day service after spraining her back and was advised by her medical team to stay at home and rest for the next month. She has since carried out a number of duties from Windsor Castle, including an audience with banker Andrew Bailey and a knighting of her main doctor, Professor Huw Thomas.
