Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie have been in contact during their pregnancies, source claims
The royal mothers are supposedly 'very close'
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie are reportedly “very close” and have been in contact during their overlapping pregnancies, a source has claimed.
- Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan announced they are expecting their second child soon after Princess Eugenie gave birth to her son August.
- It’s been suggested that Meghan and Eugenie are "very close" and would have known about each other's due dates.
- In other Royal News, Diana is currently in the top spot for Prince Harry and Meghan's baby name according to latest odds.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie have both been pregnant at the same time and it’s been suggested that they are "very close" and have been in contact. Princess Eugenie gave birth to her and Jack Brooksbank’s first child on February 9. On Saturday she took to Instagram to reveal his adorable name, inspired by royal relatives.
In between both of Princess Eugenie’s wonderful family announcements, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan announced they are expecting baby number two. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have yet to officially confirm a specific due date for their second child.
However, some have speculated that she could be around five months pregnant. With the birth of August Brooksbank and Zara Tindall’s third baby also due in 2021, this is set to be a record year for the Queen. And it seems that Meghan and Princess Eugenie have formed a close bond.

PEOPLE reports that insiders say the couples have been in contact throughout their respective pregnancies. A family friend reportedly told the publication: “They would have known about each other's due dates”, whilst noting that Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are thought to be living in Prince Harry and Meghan’s former UK home, Frogmore Cottage.
"These times tend to bring families together," a royal insider added. "What is lovely is Eugenie having her baby as Harry and Meghan are having theirs. They are very close. And they are all deciding to go their own route."

Both Prince Harry and Meghan and Princess Eugenie shared their pregnancy news with photographs. Eugenie posted a sweet photo of tiny baby shoes, revealing they would be welcoming a new arrival in 2021 in the caption, whilst the Sussexes’ deeply personal pregnancy picture even has a hidden detail you might have missed.
And that’s not the only way the royal cousins’ child-raising routes are similar. It’s previously been reported that Princess Eugenie would decline a title if she was offered one for her baby.
Whilst the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child, Archie, is also growing up without one.
