Kate Middleton met with Dr. Jill Biden at a Cornwall preschool to discuss children and education. The setting, and the topics under discussion, led to questions about the Duchess' new niece, Lilibet Diana.

•  While visiting Connor Downs Academy preschool, Kate Middleton was asked about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new baby, Lilibet Diana, during a Q&A.
• Kate and Dr. Biden got to meet with students, feed the class rabbit, and learn more about the Duchess' early childhood educational efforts.
• In other royal news, this sign proves that Prince Harry and Prince Charles' rift is beginning to heal.

They say Kate Middleton is the children's princess, and her latest outing is proof that she is worthy of the title—and an fantastic aunt.

During her trip to visit the children at Connor Downs Academy preschool, she and Dr. Jill Biden discussed the importance of early childhood education, which led to questions for the Duchess about Lilibet Diana.

In true Kate fashion, her response was sweet and sincere.

"I wish her all the very best. I can't wait to meet her," Kate said of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's daughter, according to People.

She added, "We haven't met her yet. I hope that will be soon."

Although she and Prince William haven't had a virtual introduction to their new niece, the Queen met Lilibet Diana via video call several days after she was born.

After a year of tension following Prince Harry's shocking revelations and decision to step back from his role in the British monarch, royal experts have alleged that Lilibet will act as a family unifier, and Kate has already proven that she, too, is all about keeping the peace. Kate, it's reported, is hoping for a reconciliation between Prince William and Prince Harry, so that Archie and Lilibet's relationship with their cousins will be strong.

It appears Kate's family life and philanthropic missions have one important factor in common: children. During this meeting with Dr. Jill Biden, Kate met with the quiet students of Connor Downs Academy, fed their class rabbit, and discussed her initiative "Five Big Questions on the Under Fives," which polled parents, educators, and professionals about what it takes raising children of five and under.
